How to Create Your First Typen Blog
Creating your first Typen blog only takes a few minutes. You can sign up, choose your blog address, add a description, select a language, and pick a theme before publishing.

1. Start your free account
Open the Typen homepage and select Start Free or Get started.
Choose one of the available sign-in methods:

Google
-
GitHub
-
Email Magic Link
2. Complete your profile
When using Email Magic Link, enter your full name and choose a username.
Usernames may contain letters, numbers, underscores, and hyphens.
Select Complete profile when finished.
3. Create a new blog
After signing in, you will see the blog management page.
Select Create New Blog to begin setting up your blog.
4. Add your blog name and address
In the Basics step, enter:

Your blog name

Your preferred subdomain
Your blog address will use this format:
your-blog.typen.blog
Use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens for the subdomain.
Select Continue.
5. Add a description
In the Details step, write a short description explaining what your blog is about.
The description is optional, but it helps readers understand what they can expect from your content.
Select Continue.
6. Choose your language
Select the default language for your blog.
Available options may include English, Spanish, French, German, and Hungarian.
Review the setup summary, then select Create Blog.
7. Choose a theme
After creating the blog, open Themes from the dashboard.
Browse the available themes and select the design you want to use. Some themes are available only with Pro.
You are ready to publish
Your blog is now created and available at your Typen address. The next step is to create and publish your first post.
